Stretching along the western Ligurian shoreline in the province of Imperia, the Riviera dei Fiori (Riviera of Flowers) is where sea, sun, and floral splendor come together in harmony.
This radiant coast, part of the Riviera di Ponente, spans from Capo Mimosa near Cervo to the French border at Ventimiglia. Along this coastline, you’ll discover sandy and pebbly beaches, rocky promontories, and azure waters that mirror the sky.

But the Riviera dei Fiori is far more than just its shores. As you move inland, the terrain rises into hills and valleys dotted with olive groves, vineyards, and aromatic gardens. Medieval villages, hidden among the hills, reveal narrow stone alleys, historic churches, and local culinary traditions.
Mild climate, abundant flora, and the perfect balance between coastline and hills make Riviera dei Fiori a year-round destination.
Riviera dei Fiori
Among the jewels of the Riviera dei Fiori are places like Sanremo, known for its art nouveau architecture, gardens, and the famous music festival; Bordighera, with elegant villas and botanical gardens; Imperia, with its dual soul between sea and hinterland; and Dolceacqua, perched on the Nervia River, with its stone bridge and Doria Castle.
The Riviera is also active. One of its most celebrated features is the coastal cycle path (Pista Ciclabile del Parco Costiero), a scenic route repurposed from an old railway line that runs between San Lorenzo al Mare and Ospedaletti. Along the route, cyclists and walkers pass through tunnels, bridges, charming villages, and sweeping sea views.

Mild climate, abundant flora, and the perfect balance between coastline and hills make Riviera dei Fiori a year-round destination. Whether you seek peaceful beach days, outdoor adventures, cultural excursions, or simply moments of slow beauty — here, every path leads to discovery.
